This Sunday – Diaspora Celebration in Southmead – Family Fun Day at The Ranch

28/04/2026

We are so excited about our Family Fun Day at The Ranch this Sunday; it is part of the City-wide programme of Diaspora celebrations from 1st – 10th May, with our brilliant partners Diverse Artists Network. Everyone is welcome and tickets are free for this day of fun, food, arts, dance, and music.

With just four days to go, we cannot wait for The Ranch to burst with sounds, song, crafts, and delights to savour. It is all part of Bristol’s most joyful celebration of culture, creativity, and community.

If you have not been before you must come and meet Afro-Leana – the legendary giant puppet is flying all the way from to Jamaica to get you on your feet. Do not miss out on a dance with this larger-than-life icon.

  • Artist Ruth Ramsay will be with us to lead us to design flags to show who we are.
  • Step behind the decks with DJ and producer Indian Man, and discover the world of Desi Futurism.
  • Tan Teddy will be bringing the warmth of the Caribbean in his music.

All of this, plus delicious things to eat and brilliant company, at our well-loved venue The Ranch, is not to be missed, grab your free ticket now!
