Family Fun Day at The Ranch: Celebrate Bristol’s Diaspora!

Rarely has it been more important to stand together as a global community. We hope the City-wide festival serves to provide vital spaces for much-needed celebration and connection. You can click at the bottom for all events and to book your place.
We are delighted that we are part of the celebrations again this year in Southmead. For our second Diaspora event we will be back at The Ranch for a free Family Fun Day.
Whoever you are, wherever you are from, come and join us for a fantastic day of fun, food, music, and dancing. Details include:
- Textile artist Ruth Ramsay will lead the Flag Up Your Identity workshop – make a colourful flag that shows the world who you are
- Puppet Afro-Leana has flown in from Jamaica especially for this event. Come and dance with this larger-than-life-sized legend
- DJ and producer Indian Man will be running a DJ workshop – learn about Desi Futurism and how to use the decks
- Jamaican choir Tan Teddy will bring you sounds from the Caribbean islands
