Supporting our Communities to Thrive
What we do
We are a charity made up of staff, volunteers and residents who work together to help to release power in our community. By working alongside residents in North Bristol our expert teams support communities to be strong, vibrant and resourceful through building health, wellbeing, learning, employment and pride of place.
We manage the Greenway Centre and The Ranch (Southmead Adventure Playground), providing inspiring and accessible community spaces for children, young people, families, adults, community groups, partners and businesses. They are both well-loved local venues and host popular community events throughout the year including the Southmead Festival and community pantomime.
We are proud of our impact and that for every £1 we invest we generate £28 in social value.

Youth and Play
at The Ranch
Providing safe spaces for children and young people to flourish is essential to a healthy, vibrant and energetic community. We manage The Ranch (Adventure Playground & Youth Space). Our free, open access sessions for ages 8-18 are run by our Youth and Play team, supported by local Volunteers. Activities include sports, creative workshops, music, outdoor play, indoor play and hanging out. Working with partners across the City we ensure the voices of young people and children are heard. We are proud to be part of the Playful Bristol network. Our Link Forward team of Children’s Link Workers also offer a referral service for one-to-one and group sessions.
