Greenway is Closed for Essential Works this weekend

We are really sorry but due to essential all-site electrical upgrade works, we are completely closed this weekend.

This upgrade is crucial to replace the outdated 1970s cabling that supports the entire building. Alongside these works, we are making exciting progress with the renovation of the old school canteen (Green Rooms) and significant improvements to our changing rooms and toilets.

These upgrades are designed to create better, more reliable, and welcoming facilities for everyone who uses Greenway, and create dedicated new spaces for our work with young people.

Our contractors required either a one weekend closure OR four entire working weeks of shutdown for the electrical works, and so we took the very difficult, but potentially less damaging decision to close this weekend.

To everyone who had booked events for this weekend, and to our Gym Members, we are sincerely sorry and we thank you for bearing with us.

We are particularly sorry that the Christmas @Greenway Market and @Southmead Rugby Club music gig have had to be cancelled – please head to their Facebook pages for the next dates for these brilliant events.
