As the welcoming face of our busy Greenway Centre, our Customer Experience team are the first people our many visitors meet – anyone from a participant in one of our services to support their learning and wellbeing, a Greenway Gym member or exercise class attendant, someone joining in a free activity, a Café customer, one of our business partners, professionals from other organisations, or residents simply looking for support or a place to go.  With such a huge number of reasons to visit Greenway we receive more than a thousand individual visits each week.  We believe that our Customer Experience team have one of the most important jobs in the house to support such a wide range of visitors.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Experienced in sales and customer service. 
  • Confident and efficient when using essential Microsoft applications. 
  • Can offer friendly assistance – face-to-face, on the phone, by email, and on social media platforms.  
  • Experienced in general office and administration support. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • An awareness of Health & Safety. 
  • Can calmly multi-task, for example, answering and holding phone calls while responding to in-person visitors, and keeping up with emails.  
  • Knowledge and understanding of issues facing Southmead and a passion to be a part of a team working for positive change

ABOUT THE ROLE:  

  • As a part of this key team, you will provide a high standard of customer service to all our visitors. 
  • You will also be responsible for supporting the facilities team to set up meeting rooms, conferences, and weekend birthday parties at The Ranch Adventure Playground & Youth Space.  
  • Working alongside the Communications and Marketing team you will help to promote events, community groups, and initiatives.  
  • You will support the Customer Experience Manager to develop events, evening community groups, and business meetings. 
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced customer service environment to support the diverse communities in Southmead and North Bristol. 

DETAILS:

Location: Based at Southmead Adventure Playground, and Greenway Centre, Bristol, BS10

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: £23,699 pro-rata (with pending cost of living rise in April 2025)

Hours: Part time, 23 hours per week

Holiday & benefits: 33 days annual leave pro rata (inclusive of Bank Holidays), occupational pension, free membership to Greenway Gym and classes
