Invitation to Community Garden Party: Thursday 29th May, 4 – 6 PM

Something blooming marvellous is taking shape in the green space, behind the bike shelter, at Greenway Centre, and we would love everyone to join us to celebrate it.

For quite some years our residents and Trust staff have shared that they would like more space for wildlife, outdoor spaces to meet up in and rest, and more opportunities to grow things. We believe this is the right time to give it a go.

Throughout April and May, a small staff team have been working with Southmead Men’s Space group to build raised beds. Our aim is a low maintenance, wildlife friendly, sensory garden space where community and critters are welcome. The grass is currently full of daisies and the young oaks have new leaves – it is already looking beautiful!

Everyone is invited to a Garden Party to celebrate the creation of this new community garden.  Please join us for hot and cold refreshments, spring snacks, and sign painting to bring in the new garden season, and to find out more about getting involved.
