Get Growing Trail at Greenway: Sunday 21st September
01/09/2025

We are excited that during our community garden’s first year we are a new spot on the map for this year’s Bristol City-wide’s Get Growing Trail.
Come and join us to enjoy the new Greenway Community Garden and find out more about how you can be involved with all things leafy.
- Date: Sunday 21st September
- Time: 10:30 AM – 1 PM
- Greenway Centre, BS10 5PY
The Get Growing Trail is a yearly event organised by Bristol Food Network to showcase the incredible range of spaces which grow food, herbs, and flowers in Bristol. Our city has a rich history of community driven growing activities, and you can spend the weekend touring them.
You will be able to find opportunities to:
- Volunteer in community garden and orchard settings
- Learn about food growing
- Enjoy the fruits (and vegetables) of an urban harvest
- Connect with others who care about growing, gardens, and greening
On the day have a look round the small but mighty space, hear about future plans, join our new gardening group, and help start our bulb garden. All will be accompanied by a cup of tea!
Why not spend a full Sunday out and about in North Bristol’s gardens? The garden at Westbury Library and the Alive Dementia Friendly Allotment in Brentry are also open that day.
