A Southmead First – Community HIV Testing: Thursday 12th February

In partnership with Yuno Sexual Health services we are offering HIV testing for the first time in Southmead. Our community has been under-served by sexual health support for a very long time, and we know it is incredibly important for people to have access to this kind of service.

Drop into Greenway Centre for free and confidential support, on Thursday 12^th February, from 1-3pm.  Just ask at Reception where to find us – there is no need to book.

Did you know HIV affects more than 100,000 people in the UK and treatment has come a long way in recent years. People with HIV on effective treatment live long, healthy lives, and cannot pass on the virus.

Yet more than 5000 people living with HIV in the UK are undiagnosed, and so are missing out on the treatment that can support their health.

We are really pleased to be supporting Yuno to offer HIV testing in Southmead. As well as being free and confidential, having a test is an act of personal self-care.
