Super Spring – Market, Repairs, and Seeds – 28th March

We are springing with excitement about Spring Super Saturday here at Greenway on 28th March. Greenway Market will be blooming-marvelous as usual. Southmead Repair Café will be celebrating its first year of growth as a popular and mega-useful service. And Southmead Seed Swap, in partnership with Bristol Seed Swap, will be scattering its joy for the second-year running.

Greenway Market blossoms even more at this time of year, bursting with beautiful hand-made crafts and gifts, pre-loved treasures, and all things Easter. Do come and browse this bright and beautiful array of wares, with delicious refreshments and treats available to enjoy.

Southmead Repair Café volunteers have fixed 83 items in their first year for residents to take back home for another lease of life; not only saving us money on buying new household items but helping to save the planet too. Bring your broken items along to this special anniversary Café for repair and a second chance; anything from holey jumpers to electronics and garden tools – our skilled repairers are game to have a go at reviving them.  As it is the Café’s first birthday, there will be an extra buzz with activities and perhaps a cake or two – everyone is welcome.

Southmead Seed Swap will again be spreading its joy by offering exciting packets of new life for you to plant. You can bring seeds to swap for new ones, or take some and offer a donation if you can. There may also be plants available, and a chance to sign up for the thriving Bristol grow-your-own wider network.
