Box Fit (adults 16+)
You will be partnered up with another participant and will both take turns to hit the pads and throw various boxing combinations. This is a great workout to learn some boxing skills.
Cardio Combat
A high-intensity, non-contact, full-body workout that combines punches, blocks, kicks, and strikes. This workout is a type of cardio peak training that includes steady and high-intensity exercise. It aims to improve endurance, coordination, and flexibility.
Carnival Fitness
Carnival Fitness is a body-weighted dance fitness class incorporating basic dance steps and inspired by the magic and energy of a Caribbean Carnival. Our class is just like playing mas (masquerade), waving your colourful rags and flags, jumping and whining (rhythmic moving of the waistline) to the best Caribbean music! We create a safe and inclusive environment promoting fitness, health and wellbeing, cultural awareness and community cohesion. Come and join us and enjoy a carnival every week!
Circuits
Circuit classes for all levels of fitness. A whole body approach using a combination of bodyweight, weights, and cardio-based exercises. Taught by our Fitness team, you will be put through your paces whilst enjoying good music and good company.
Chair Based Exercise
This group session is a physical activity that is great for anyone who is looking to reintroduce themselves to some form of exercise. Expect low impact, gentle exercise, using a chair as a support aid.
Dance and Tone
A choreographed dance fitness class aimed to burn calories, tone the body, improve, and strengthen your cardiovascular system. Using music fusions from around the world, the workout is fun for all ages and fitness levels. A great stress and anxiety reliever, this class will uplift your wellbeing and mental health as well. There are no expectations for what you can achieve – tailor the class to your needs. Two left feet…not a problem!
Flow Strength
Combines controlled, flowing movements to music with elements of fitness Pilates, vinyasa flow, balance and stretch movements, targeting all over muscular conditioning.
Forever Active
This class merges strength, flexibility, aerobic, and balance together. Suitable for all fitness levels and for those who are looking to take the next step up from chair-based exercise.
Full Body Strength training
A full body strength workout is a fitness class that targets all major muscle groups in a single session. In this session you would benefit building muscle, increase strength, and improve all over fitness.
Glow Beatz
Glow Beatz is a fun, full-body workout with a banging soundtrack that gets great results. The routines combine dance, toning, and combat moves with options to suit all fitness levels. Classes are held in a darkened room with disco lights and our trademark LED glow sticks. This class will book up quickly, so hurry and get your rave on!
Kettlebells
Kettlebells is a workout that helps tone your body and lose weight with a series of movements using Kettlebells. It has many health benefits and is a great cardiovascular fitness workout.
LBT
This class is a whole body approach, with a particular focus on the lower body: Legs, Bums and Tums! Great instructors, motivating music and a guaranteed great time… so come and get involved. Suitable for all fitness levels!
Pilates
Pilates is a form of exercise where the focus is on strengthening muscles and improving postural alignment and flexibility. The emphasis is to strengthen the core, which includes the abdomen, lower back, hips, and buttocks, in a controlled manner with breaths.
Pump It Up
This is a progressive complete body workout using barbells and weight plates. Traditional resistance training exercises such as squats, lunges, presses, and rows take on another dimension through the use of functional, multi-plane movement. Great for weight management, improving strength, and toning up the whole body.
Qigong
Qigong (pronounced Chi-Gong) translates as ‘energy work’ and is an ancient Chinese form of exercise. It is a discipline that involves the mind, breath, and movement to create a calm, natural balance of energy. It’s a beautiful, slow, meditative healing art that promotes health, balance, energy, awareness, and relaxation. Learn to find stillness in motion. Qigong is beneficial for anyone who wants to improve their health and wellbeing. It’s especially good for people with low mood, anxiety, and depression, and for older and socially isolated people. This class can be done seated or standing. No previous experience is necessary.
Step
A step class to suit all levels of fitness. A fun workout using a step that is performed choreographed routine to upbeat music that is low impact, targeting the lower part of the body. Step also improves coordination, agility and balance.
Tai Chi
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art now widely practiced for the beneficial effect it has on health. Its slow, graceful movements link together to create a meditative dance which is safe for people of all ages to enjoy. Practising Tai Chi will improve your movement, coordination, and balance. Young Gym Boxing Club (ages 11 – 15)
A boxing club that will provide a fun, supportive, and structured environment for young people to learn the sport of boxing. As well as to improve their fitness and develop valuable life skills. Classes focus on basic boxing techniques, fitness drills, and building confidence and discipline.
Zumba
Zumba is a fitness program that involves cardio and Latin-inspired dance. Suitable for all fitness levels, a fun and effective workout.
