Coast-to-Coast Bike Ride to Raise Funds for The Ranch!

We begin cheering today for our cycle team fundraisers from Sweet Projects. They are peddling coast-to-coast, beach-to-beach, to arrive during the Southmead Festival this weekend.

Join us to raise the Festival roof on Saturday to welcome them in after their three-day mission from the shores of the east coast, to our one day only coastal resort of ‘Southmead-on-Sea’!

It is wonderful to have been chosen by Sweet Projects as their summer cause to raise money for our children and young people’s hub – The Ranch Adventure Playground and Youth Space. They heard that we need to raise funds towards our ambition to open The Ranch for sessions on Saturdays – we are currently open during the week only.

Today the six strong team leave from Sheerness on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent, and will cycle 90 miles before resting for the night in Surrey. On Friday they will cycle 100 miles to Corsham. And then on Festival day they should arrive sometime around lunchtime, and will be supported along Doncaster Road and into the Festival by children and young people from The Ranch.
