Your Stand at Southmead Festival 2026 is Shore to Make a Splash!

Dear Partners, organisations, and groups. Have you flagged that you are rocking up to this year’s Southmead Festival – to put on something fun for our more than a thousand Southmead Festival goers?

Join us on Saturday 25^th July, from 11am to 4pm.

We are very excited about bringing together all kinds of activities for our theme ‘Southmead-on-Sea’ – hopefully donkey rides for the little ones, a surf simulator, beach sports, and an ‘arcade’ full of games – anything we can sand-wich in!

Come and ride this wave – tell us now you are coming so we can reserve your sunspot and add you to our advertising list. Do get in touch (all details below) before your towel gets pinched!

We would love you to provide an interactive activity to join in with the theme. Already, Raised in Bristol is making a beach area for children, Bristol North Family Hub is offering seashore activities, and we would like to challenge our local sports teams to a beach volleyball tournament – what do you say Southmead Rugby Club and Southmead Athletic FC?

Of course, there will be fancy dress prizes – what will you wear? Anything goes and that can be as simple as you like – from a snorkel or flip flops, to as elaborate as you want – mermaids, pirates, or fish? We are sure all your ideas will be fin-tastic!

We have also been contacting organisations across the City to sponsor the day and help us to fulfil our beach wish list – like hiring a giant paddling pool, deck chairs, and inflatables. If you or any business you know can help, do contact us to help keep the fun rolling in!

So, please pop on your thinking beach hats and tell us how you would like to be involved, we really want to sea you there!
