Shape Your Place at the Festival Southmead!

Visit Southmead Regeneration at the ‘Shape Your Place’ stand at the Southmead Festival 2018.  We’ll have a Lego building area for your children (or big kids) to show us what they like to create, while we share with you the Southmead Development Trust’s aspirations to ensure our community is provided with the amenities and facilities that everyone wants and needs.  Also –

• Meet and chat with the architects who are carrying out the master planning work for Southmead Centre.
• Catch up with the BS10 Parks and Planning and find out about all development and transport proposals that are either happening or going to happen in our area – what they don’t know isn’t worth knowing!
• Meet Engie, the developer at Dunmail, and find out how the construction is coming along and what they’re building.
• Meet YTL, the developers of the Filton Airfield strip who are going to build around 1800 homes as well as shops, commercial space and a school.  Ask them about how they are looking to connect the new community with the established, and the benefits they hope to bring to the neighbourhood.
• Meet United Communities who are partnering with SDT and helping to deliver affordable housing for the future.

You can also sign up to Volunteer with our project and help us with many different jobs from hosting events to watering at the Pen Park Pocket Park.
