Volunteering with Neighbours Connect Southmead

Neighbours Connect Southmead is a new project to support Southmead residents who receive social care.

The project will link up volunteers with local residents to facilitate greater connectedness and neighbourliness. We think that a strong community is one that is connected to each other, where neighbours look out for each other and where people feel part of things; we want to be part of encouraging that.

Volunteers will support others in their community with a range of activities, from going with someone to a new group or activity, to helping a neighbour with their weekly shop, or meeting someone regularly to play pool and have a chat.

If you have a couple of hours spare a week, come and chat to us about being involved! We welcome all interests, skills and experience.
