New Creative Groups Support Mind Health in Our Community

14/12/2021

Our Social Prescribing team has joined up with some amazing partners to deliver three wellbeing groups for adults. We now have Wellbeing Arts, Wellbeing Music and Wellbeing Movement!

We’re really excited to be able to offer these groups. Creative activities like music, art and dance put us in a zone where we can feel more confident, ‘in the moment’ and have some fun. All of this can be an empowering way of supporting our mind health and emotional wellbeing.

Groups will empower people to boost confidence, make new connections, nurture new interests and take the time to have fun for themselves.

We all have a firm belief that you don’t need to be a ballet dancer, opera singer or professional painter to enjoy these experiences. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to go at their own pace.
