How Do We Want the Spaces at Glencoyne to Look?

Earlier this month a group of Southmead Development Trust trustees and staff made a tour of different courtyards and gardens in Bristol to gather ideas for the design of the public spaces and courtyards for the new Glencoyne Square development.

Finley McNab, from the Streets Reimagined design team, accompanied us and together we noted the features of places that communities enjoy using, which will help us to design aspects of Glencoyne and add to our consultation workshops with residents.

Some of the places we visited were Sweetman Place in St Philips, Paintworks near Arnos Vale, and University of Bristol’s Royal Fort Gardens (a few pics below).
