From Southmead with Pride

You might remember that last year we held a banner making workshop for Bristol Pride. Community members gathered with glitter and pom-poms to make the gorgeous banner you see in the picture above. It was so lovely, that this year we thought we would do the same!

All are warmly invited to Greenway on Thursday 9th July, 6-8pm, to make a banner or placard about what Pride means to you, have a good old chinwag and perhaps meet some new pals. Craft supplies provided and – of course – there will be a good cup of tea and some biscuits.

LGBTQIA+ Prides happen throught June and July all over the world to celebrate the LGBT community. They first started as a political act in support of gay and trans rights.
