Strong Mums Classes in Bristol
For mums who have recently given birth and want to start exercising again. The primary focus is to tone and condition the body, in particular strengthening the pelvic floor, the abdominals and the lower back. It is a great class to regain and improve your fitness after giving birth. We’ll use a range of equipment such as Pilates balls and hand weights so exercises will be varied and adaptable.
You will have lots of fun and meet new mum friends. You can bring your baby with you so you don’t have to miss out! Suitable for all mums.
What do I need to know?
How will my child be occupied?
Please bring something to keep them entertained. This could be their favourite toy, a bouncer, some snacks etc. In case we do the class outside, please bring something to keep them in the shade. And definitely something they can sleep in if they need a nap!
How old can my baby be?
This class is for only for babies who aren’t crawling yet. This means that you can safely keep an eye on them in one spot whilst you enjoy the class without worrying what they’re up to!
Do you mind if I need to breastfeed?
Absolutely not. You are welcome to take a break whenever you or your baby need to.

How much is the class?
This class is currently free!
Can I get a drink after class?
Please bring a bottle of water with you, or you can buy water from reception. Due to Covid restrictions, we do not have a water fountain available at this time.
There is also a hot drinks machine so you can buy a cuppa after class. There’s lots of space outside to sit down and have a chat.
