Junior Gym Sessions
An hour’s gym session for people aged 12-16 years. There will be an instructor in the gym who can work with you to put together your own work out programme and show you how to use the equipment safely.
There is space for 10 people so if you know you’d like an after school work out session, get booked in!
Tuesdays, 16:30 – 17:30

What do I need to know?
How do I book a Junior Gym session?
How old do I need to be?
These sessions are for 12-16 year olds.
Will there be an adult in the session?
Each session will have one of our gym instructors present. They will be able to show you exercises, how to use the equipment and how to build a suitable work out programme.
Does my parent or carer need to come with me?
Your parent or carer needs to fill out a health and fitness form before you start gym sessions. They can do this beforehand or during your first junior gym session.
Once they’ve completed this form, they don’t need to come with you to every session – you’re free to come alone!
Do I need to stay for the whole session?
You don’t have to stay for the whole hour. You do need to come at the start of the session though.
What should I wear?
Please wear work out appropriate clothes like leggings or trackies – something comfortable! And trainers.
Should I bring anything to the session?
Please bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
