DESCRIPTION:Book your ticket HERE \nIt is estimated that more than one and a half million women in the UK are living with the painful condition of endometriosis\, and yet it is quite common for it to take up to ten years to be diagnosed and then treated. We would like to talk about this because we know that good health care starts with awareness and conversation. \nSouthmead Development Trust and Bristol Health Partners invite you to watch the documentray film Below the Belt – about the impact of endometriosis. This event is for anyone interested in endometriosis\, including those with lived experience\, clinicians\, and family members. \nWe hope the film will spark conversations and ideas. Afterwards there will be a discussion with an informal panel made up of those living with endometriosis\, consultants in women’s health\, and researchers. \nSouthmead Development Trust is a community anchor organisation in North Bristol. Our role is to bring different types of people together to have conversations about topics that are important to them. \nBristol Health Partners is an organisation which supports collaboration between health services\, universities\, care providers\, and decision-makers. \nWe hope you can join us. SUMMARY:Southmead Repair Cafe
DESCRIPTION:We meet every month to help residents reuse and recycle. \nSo if you have a broken toaster\, holey jumper\, or anything else you would like to keep hold of but currently cannot use\, everything is welcome.  We welcome donations for repairs carried out. \nThere will always be a warm welcome and a hot cuppa too. \nSouthmead Repair Cafe runs on the last Saturday of each month\, alongside the monthly Greenway Market. \nIf you can volunteer to offer your skills at the Repair Cafe\, please contact us. \n\nemail: info@southmead.org\ntel: 0117 950 3335\n\nWe are members of the International Repair Cafe and part of Bristol Repair Cafes
