Hiring: SDT Volunteer Coordinator [closed]

Are you passionate about Volunteering and the impact that it can have in a community? Would you like to work in a team focused on facilitating greater neighbourliness in Southmead?

If that’s you, this full-time role is to be part of a new social investment project, joining our ‘Combining Personalisation and Community Empowerment’ (CPCE) team. Reporting to the Project Manager you will recruit, train and manage volunteers within Southmead to:

1. Establish strong relationships with residents
2. Support local groups to be welcoming places for new members and help build capacity for other meaningful activities
3. Work closely with the project team to link volunteers and residents.

We’re looking for someone with excellent people skills, who will work well within a team and enjoy the challenge of helping to set-up a new project.

This post is full time and the salary is £22,000-25,000 depending on experience.
