We manage the Greenway Centre and The Ranch (Southmead Adventure Playground), providing inspiring and accessible community spaces for children, young people, families, adults, community groups, partners and businesses.

ABOUT YOU 

  • 2+ years experience working 1-2-1 with people supporting employment/volunteering/holistic wellbeing and managing a case load 
  • Understanding of importance of employment within the context of wellbeing and health  
  • Ability to work with diverse communities and complex participants  
  • Proactive and creative team player with the ability to work independently 
  • Ability to facilitate learning or wellbeing groups-experience of creating and/or delivering these desirable 
  • Diligent and responsible with the ability to be outcome and target focused  
  • Understanding of the VCSE, employment and/or health sectors and the benefits of partnership working 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

You will support a case load of participants with wellbeing and volunteering, employment needs. You will work with participants 1-2-1 either briefly or over a longer period of time to improve wellbeing, health and confidence, and ultimately, employability and volunteering skills.   

You will work with and alongside a team of practitioners, working collaboratively, drawing on each other’s strengths to ensure the best support for our participants. You will assist in delivering projects within the service and provide support to the Learning and Wellbeing Manager as required. 

You will develop excellent working knowledge of the local health, VCSE and employment sectors, drawing on resources and linking participants in with appropriate services to best support wellbeing.  

You will have the opportunity to continue to help shape and develop this new, holistic service.  

DETAILS: 

Location: Greenway Centre, Bristol, BS10 

Reports to: Learning and Wellbeing Manager 

Contract type: Permanent 

Salary: £28,404-£29,551 pro rata dependant on experience 

Hours: part time 30 hours per week-negotiable 

Holiday & benefits: 33 days annual leave pro rata (inclusive of Bank Holidays), occupational pension, free membership to Greenway Gym and classes, cycle to work scheme, cafe discount.  

Training & Development Opportunities: All mandatory training and job specific training offered, e.g. First Aid, Safeguarding, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Practice and Reflective Practice. 

Sick Pay: 4 weeks over rolling year, pro rata  

Pension Contribution: Nest Pension Scheme, combined 7% (employer 3%, employee 4% as standard)
